Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Paul has loved photography since he was young.
It is only in recent years that he decided to do something about it, and started
off with a very second-hand Praktica MTL 5B. It was enough to get started with, and
he soon progressed to a Canon Eos 5. Recently he has gone digital, and now enjoys
the “instant” results from his work. He has stuck with Canon, and also uses their
Canonscan FS4000US film scanner to archive his film collection to digital format.
Printing is output through an Epson Stylus Photo R2400, using only archive quality
paper and inks, which guarantee against fading for 100 years.
A keen traveller, he has always appreciated the spectacular world in which we
live, both the natural and built environments. We hope that you enjoy his photography,
and perhaps it will inspire you in some small way to appreciate our world.
